Officials responded to a call of a body found in a pond near Southlawn Lane/Red Gate Park in Rockville around 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to Montgomery Count Fire and Rescue Service Public Information Officer Pete Piringer.
The police department assisted first responders when it was determined that the incident was a body recovery and not a rescue. More details will be released as information becomes available.
